East Harbour 1B, designed by KPF for Cadillac Fairview, is the first office tower of Toronto’s East Harbour master plan. Building 1B marks the beginning of the transformation of the industrial site into a bold, transit-connected community.
The East Harbour master plan will deliver 10 million square feet of office space, over 4,000 residential units, and 3.5 acres of parks and open space. This new community offers enhanced pedestrian experiences and improved connectivity.
East Harbour 1B will rise 44 storeys and is the tallest tower of the 15-building master plan. The tower will feature Class AAA office, retail, and amenity space with panoramic views of the waterfront. The façade of East harbour is inspired by the site’s industrial heritage with geometric forms of dark metals and copper. The building’s podium is designed in steps, creating a dynamic visual and allowing for outdoor terraces on multiple floors. Outdoor amenities include multiple parks and a public plaza while indoor amenities include retail, food and office amenities.
Located on the east side of downtown Toronto, East Harbour is seamlessly connected to the city’s transit network, with access to both GO Train and TTC services. With a variety of restaurants, entertainment, and retail options nearby in Downtown Toronto and the surrounding areas, the development offers vibrant, dynamic lifestyle.
